Grant Pearce also implements a whole range of eco-friendly design techniques. We tailor house designs to take advantage of natural climatic conditions, leverage natural ventilation, the warmth of the sun and effective insulation. In areas with strong solar access, we utilise building materials such as concrete and masonry to help even out the internal temperature of a home, keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer.
We focus on using renewable materials, including bamboo flooring and low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) paints to improve the health of indoor environments.
